July Currently

Well, hello peeps!

Happy summer time!! (Although I am teaching summer school this summer, so technically my summer does not begin until August 11th...yikes!)  Anyways, this is me re-entering bloggyland.

Without further adieu, here is my July Currently linky from Farley...

Listening: Can I just express how HAPPY I am that we are finally in summer??? My air conditioner is my summertime best friend. =]

Loving:  Yep, had some leftover bananas that were going bad, so I whipped up a loaf of banana bread tonight.  Delishhhhhh.

Thinking:  Ugh, this one depresses me.  I can never seem to keep all my hobbies balanced at one time.  Maybe I need to create some type of blogging schedule? Oyyy.

Wanting:  I began organizing and purging during our last week of school.  However, now that summer school is in full swing, I can't really begin to start decorating for next year...and I REALLY have the itch...

Needing:  Even though I am able to expense an area rug for my classroom library, I am really not looking to spend a lot.  I would rather put my money toward extra books.  Any suggestions??

4th Plans:  Can't believe the 4th is already here...

If you want to join this linky, head on over to Farley's blog to check out the deets.

Cheers!

  1. OMG! I had overripe bananas and found a recipe…woke up today and THE BANANAS WERE GONE. My ding-dong husband threw them away! I was SOOO bummed. No banana bread for me. My blog posts have been insignificant. They've purely been social and not informative… I need to get on that…but blogging is at the bottom of my list right now. I purchased my inexpensive rug off of Walmart.com and had it shipped to my house. I was cheap, large and I got tons of compliments on it! It's hot pink zebra print (rock star classroom). Love it! Rolled it up and it's in the garage right now (I'm moving buildings). It's not the most quality type rug…but it did it's thing!

  3. I love the colors in your blog! That banana bread story was making my mouth water.

I am subbing for summer school but ours is done by July 18. Wow - yours goes on a long time. Is it 6 weeks?

Good look on the rug search!
